DIY kit Progress

I added this picture of the new wooden prototype although it is not finished. It does show all components other than the power supply to show how simple it is. Sorry about the tiny picture, I can not seem to find a way to get WordPress to make it bigger. If you right click it and open the picture in a new tab, you will get a much bigger version. Don’t try to use this picture as a plan, it will never work without the controller and some very important information. Once I get the few last details tested, I would be interested in beta testers who are good at woodworking etc and who can get by with a very sketchy set of instructions and pictures, no templates etc.

Because the machine is made of wood, it can be customized in ways that could make it quite attractive. The next time I am at the hardwood lumber store I am going to get some exotic woods to make a fancy model and will post pictures.

For now the only control will be the simple manual one. The control board will be upgradable to PC control for record and playback functions. I have already written the PC and Arduino code for communication but have not had the time to test it. As well as the touch screen controller works, it is just too difficult for most people to build. This new kit will be the fucking machine kit for dummies. It will take a while to finish testing and to make the drawings templates and instructions.

The more interest there is, the higher a priority I will make this and the sooner it will be available.

I will post a picture once i have something finished and a little more attractive. You will be amazed at how simple it is. Anyone could copy the basic mechanical design but the real advantage of this machine is the proprietary method of control. This requires a programmed microcontroller and circuit board. This concept can also be copied but it is the details that make it a fine machine as opposed to a clunky piece of junk. It took me over two years of part time effort to get it as good as it is.

I can hardly wait to see the machine in nice looking wood.
It sounds ideal, and of course, the all important controller.
I am saving my pennies for one!

Please add me to you list of beta testers. I have a basic shop and good woodworking, electrical/mechanical skills. I’m also using my programming background to become a Arduino programmer. I have two fuck machines that I use frequently so I’d like to be part of the next gen machine that I think you are developing.

I would be very interested to be a beta tester. I am an experienced woodworker and have access to all types of materials.

Just came across your site. I like what you’ve done so far, it’s definitely a different take than rotary-style machines. I’ve played with Arduinos before and see how they’d lend themselves well to your application. Can I ask what type of motor it is? Servo or stepper? You said you were looking for woodworkers. I used to be a cabinet-maker and can see a couple of ways you can “beautify” your current wood design. Mostly it comes down to hardware. Let me know if you could use the help.

I’ve got strong background in carpentry, electrical, programming and electronics as well as some practical experience designing DIY sex toys. I’ve got a full shop, so I’d be interested if you’re still looking for input/feedback/testing.
