New (old) Shagmatic Stand

A few years ago I made a stand for my current machine using an engine stand from Harbor Freight. I brought it with me to my shop so I could modify it. Here is a picture of the way it is now. It can be easily made from a cheap Harbor Freight engine stand as shown in the pictures or in any other creative way. Soon I will be making a version that has the power supply separate from the head so I can add a much longer pole to allow more flexible positioning. It would be interesting to see what others can do with this design. It is about as sturdy as you can get for the price. I cut the engine holding part off but others might find a way to use it. The current item seems to have four wheels whereas min has just two which I think makes it more stable.
